PR project puts Mayflower Theatre centre stage

Lee Peck Media has completed a major PR campaign for Mayflower Theatre, resulting in scores of positive coverage for the iconic venue.

The iconic venue enlisted the help of Lee Peck Media to tell the tale of its £7.5 million makeover earlier this year and lift the curtain on the brand-new look.

Lee Peck Media delivered on all fronts. It worked with the theatre’s in-house team to deliver an exciting and hard-hitting PR plan which hit consumers, businesses and politicians.

Importantly, the campaign put the theatre’s economic impact on the region in the spotlight. A carefully crafted press release on Mayflower’s £75m impact on the economy made front page news and achieved widespread coverage across B2B media.

By the time the curtain rose on the refurbishment project Lee Peck Media had achieved more than 80 pieces of media coverage across broadcast, print and online. Highlights included a piece on the BBC News website, extended coverage on BBC South and Meridian TV, front page of the Daily Echo and a page three photo spread in The Stage.

Now that’s show-stopping PR.
