2011 – 2014
PR and communications agency for Solent University with the brief to build relations with the city region, particularly employers, in a bid to retain graduate talent in the city.
Promoting the University’s involvement in Southampton’s 50th anniversary celebrations in 2014.
Driven by the University’s prowess in the maritime sector, Solent University took a lead role for the city in 2012 in organising the 100th commemorative anniversary of Titanic’s ill-fated voyage. As the University’s outsourced press office, Lee Peck Media welcomed journalists and broadcasters from 42 countries to the City to cover the main memorial event at the docks. In addition, we were involved in co-ordinating a procession of respect and condolence attended by more than 1000 children from the City’s schools.
2008 – 2014
Lee Peck Media was the lead strategic and creative agency for 14 Southampton and London International Boat shows, which attracted a combined attendance of more than 1.2m people.
The agency delivered the launch PR for P&O Cruises’ ship, Arcadia.
