Great British Radio has appointed PR and communications agency Lee Peck Media to capitalise on the successful launch of its DAB service in Hampshire just six months ago.
The Laugh out Loud radio station with local comedy legend Mike Osman at the helm, Great British Radio has taken over the airwaves with its offering of great laughs, great guests and great music.
Mike, who hosts the Breakfast Show and has been the driving force behind Great British Radio since the station’s launch at the height of the pandemic in 2021, said: “We’re delighted to have appointed Lee Peck Media. We’ve got big plans for Great British Radio and we know the agency shares our vision. We’re starting a revolution on the radio and celebrating the ordinary and extraordinary every day.”
Katie James, Marketing and Operations Director, said: “We want to be growing and continuing to increase our listenership and with Lee and the team’s experience on board we’re on to a winner.”
The station boasts other well-known voices and by popular demand The Fizz star and TV presenter Cheryl Baker’s weekday show “Afternoons with Cheryl Baker” has been extended by one hour to run from 1pm to 4pm through Mondays to Fridays.

Our latest recruit, Frankie Peck will be taking the lead. Frankie has recently left the BBC with 10 years’ radio experience under her belt and will be a real asset to our new client. From our perspective the account brings into play all aspects of the agency so we’re really looking forward to getting stuck in.”
